As an artist deeply engaged in contemporary art, sharing my journey is vital. Today, I’m thrilled to take you on a vibrant tour through some exciting events and exhibitions currently shaping my artistic landscape. We’ll explore the captivating Bath Contemporary Artists Fair, the inspiring final show at the Contemporary Art Academy and the thought-provoking "At Home" Exhibition at Patch, Bournemouth. Plus, I’ll share exclusive updates on my latest work straight from my easel. Let's get started!
Bath Contemporary Artists Fair
The award winning Bath Contemporary Artists' Fair is a fantastic celebration of artistic expression. This year, it brings together over 50 talented artists in the heart of Bath, each showcasing fine art, photography, sculpture, textiles and much more. I’m excited to display my work alongside other incredible talents, making this a truly enriching experience.
Hosted at the historic Green Park Station, the atmosphere buzzes with creativity inviting visitors to engage directly with the art. Events like this not only promote appreciation for the arts but also build a community of inspired art lovers.
I will be there on Sundays, 14th September & 12th October from 10am - 5pm so pop it in the diary and come and say hi!

BCAF is a hub for dialogue and inspiration. I had the pleasure of meeting artists from different backgrounds, sharing ideas, and gaining fresh insights that will undoubtedly influence my future work. I also sold a few paintings so all round it's been amazing for me this year.
Contemporary Art Academy Graduate Final Show
To develop our practice as professional artists and ready ourselves for working within the art industry, myself and a small group of artists have been participating in London's Contemporary Art Academy on their PG-1, 2 and 3 courses. Personally, it's been so productive and beneficial to my professional growth.

The Contemporary Art Academy final show is an eagerly awaited event that showcases the hard work of dedicated students who show their final pieces in an online virtual exhibition space, ranging from abstract paintings and sculptures to storytelling pieces that resonate on multiple levels.
We were honoured to have the group show expertly curated by independent consultant, educator and curator Kirsty Ogg, lecturer in curating at Goldsmiths and Interim Director at Mimosa House, London.
You can view the online show until 29th June, 2025. Just click this link -

"At Home" Exhibition - Bournemouth

Next, let's hop over to the "At Home" Exhibition.
Back in March, I was thrilled when my painting "Give Me Your Memories & I'll Hold Them For You" was selected by curator, Millie Lake for her beautiful 'At Home' Exhibition hosted at Patch Places in Bobby's, Bournemouth.
The Open Call requested submissions to exhibit a piece inspired by the theme of home, capturing the many ways home can be felt, seen and imagined. My painting was one of 30 to be chosen from 90 submissions, I was over the moon!

The Opening event was a roaring success and within 24 hours there had been over 350 visitors through the doors at this contemporary show. Millie said "The resulting collection offered a rich tapestry of perspectives, with artists exploring themes of belonging, memory, identity and place. From intimate reflections to bold interpretations."
By showcasing a variety of talented artists, Millie invited visitors to engage with contemporary issues in meaningful ways.

Recent Artistic Journey
As I continue on my creative path, I’ve been dedicated to creating new works that reflect my growth and evolving style. My Instagram serves as a platform for sharing the journey, from initial sketches to completed pieces.
Recently, I've been experimenting with work inspired by Knowlton Church & Earthworks after spending a research day there with Bournemouth Arts Club and artist Frances Hatch. Archaeological papers, aerial mapping and the subject of symbolism and ritual have featured and I'm looking forward to developing this further, possibly towards a BAC group project.

I've also been exploring a new direction in mixed media and printmaking.
My Instagram feed captures both fleeting sparks of inspiration and the dedication behind working towards a finished piece. Engaging with my followers has enriched my journey and I love hearing what inspires you.
For anyone interested in following this creative exploration, I invite you to check out my recent posts. Your thoughts and feedback are always appreciated.
Exciting Times Ahead
With so many developments in the pipeline, I'm super excited to see where the rest of 2025 takes me, it's such an exciting time to be part of this thriving creative community both here in Dorset and further afield. It just highlights the power of art to connect and inspire us.

As I continue to share my experiences and latest creations on Instagram, I invite you to join me on this journey. Together, we can celebrate the beauty of art in all its forms, exchanging insights and inspiration that elevates our creative paths.
Stay excited for what lies ahead!
All the best, Tina x
